Not a ipa fan. But this is amazing

Copper color, very pale, very smooth. I do not favor IPA's... but this one is good; worth a try.

Very smooth for a higher ABV %. Tasting a hint of grapefruit. Another winner by Great Lakes. What a great family of products they produce.

Far too hoppy and sweet for my taste

One of the best double IPAs out there - nice hop bitterness at the front without the harsh grape fruity flavor profile of many of the extreme IPAs. Balanced well by some malty sweetness at the finish. At. 9 percent this is heady stuff, but the high alcohol content is well masked.

Great nose slightly fruity kinda hoppy nose. Hoppy throughout with piney hints very clean balance. The hoppy hit grows from beginning to middle and by the end it becomes a lingering hit. Thie is truly the best brewery in the USA! Great beer love it

Beautiful amber pour with a mild head. citrus nose. Nice crisp hoppy flavor, mid palette gets the bitterness, but fantastic finish. Not in your face with hops. Wonderful balance.

Amazing imperial IPA - one of my top 5 favorite beers. Really sweet, not very malty, good hop bitterness.
10/22/14. This years batch tastes a lot different than I remember. When poured into a glass, huge aromas of clover honey and a dash of pineapple. First sip tastes like it smells: honey and ripe pineapple, sweet and smooth, coats your tongue. Finish has a touch of bitterness; still sweet, but not overly sweet . So good.

Serious kick. Thick.
