Well balanced drink

Smooth and sort of sweet.
Gets way better as the bottle goes on.
Tried this again many moons later and I don't taste any sweetness.

Different red ale, very good with a strong hoppy a aroma and well-balanced malt flavor.

A. Not a red, but a great hoppy beer with big malt too.

Had one at Mello. Average IPA. Very citrusy. Not a great finish.

Decent red ale. A kick of hops in there.

Strong hoppy aroma and finish. Solid malt flavors and noticeable kick. Interesting.

Pours dark orange/amber from the bottle into an IPA glass. Great head retention and carbonation. Smell: orange and floral mixed with bready malt. Taste: orangey bitterness upfront, followed by bready toasty and somewhat caramelly malt. Sweet malty on the back end, but finishes dry at the very back. Bitterness is smooth and doesn't linger. Overall: up there with some of the best reds and ambers, with only Oskar Blues G'Knight and Maine Zoe being better.

It's okay. I was expecting a Flanders red (incorrectly so). It is not. It's okay.
