Starts off with a sweet but mild toasted malt flavor that surprisingly increases through the taste. A wonderful bitter hop flavor sneaks its way in mid swallow and finishes with another crisp, and somewhat dry hoppy mouthfeel that sits on your tongue. A mellow alcohol note coats the back of your throat after the swallow. For a 9% it does a great job masking the alcohol that will inevitably put a sideways smile on your face. Drink and enjoy!

Has a strong hoppy flavor, is somewhat solvent-y. There are fruit undertones, a light flavor though. It's not bad but not something I would seek out

Sweet, hoppy, and citrusy...this defines an Imperial Red. I think the citrus, piney notes from the Simcoe might push this a bit too far to be a champion...the balance is a bit off...but overall an ambitious, exciting, and enjoyable drink.
