APPEARANCE - Pours opaque light brown, with a one-finger head that dissipates in about a minute. A little lacing. SMELL/AROMA - Herbaceous, very sweet, piney. TASTE - Quite sweet and mildly piney. Lacks ale bitterness. ABV not well hidden. MOUTHFEEL/PALATE - Not much carbonation, viscous and syrupy. OVERALL - I really like Imperial IPAs better than Tripels. This one is cloyingly sweet and a bit too boozy for me.
