I?m having this beer for the first time in Tokyo, of all places. Wasn?t sure what to expect on tap in Japan. Then I taste it, and thank god it is a solid west coast double IPA. Interesting style of hop flavor, malty, a bit boozy as it warms. Overall very drinkable for 9% abv.

Just OK. Taste is a bit malty for me and it also is boozy. If you want a Stone IPA, get the Ruination. Much better

Great IPA. Complex, but with consistent hoppy tones. Finish is muted. Overall very fresh and crisp.

Pours dark caramel color. Strong sweet and grassy nose. First taste is complex: caramel, toasty, and floral hoppy flavors. Strong and sweet pine, more hops on the palate. The New Zealand hops add to the sweetness. Finish is hoppy, pleasantly bitter, and clean. Very good. Highly recommend. A true CA IPA.

Good body but no hop profile. Nice citrus open fades to honey sweet. Very much a CA ipa
