The 2016 version is aged in wine barrels with blackberries and weighs in at 8.2%. The tartness from the wild yeast is there along with a crisp, dry fruitiness that makes this ale simultaneously thirst quenching and appetite inducing.

Sour notes are way up front. Very funky nose. Made with blackberries.

Blackberry is much too much. Carbonation is off the charts. More wine than beer. Really, it's pretty awful

Reddish/gold color, no head, funky tart berry aroma, tiny bubbles, sour, slight red wine flavor lingers, you get more blackberry as it warms up, great sour from a great brewery

This is a very nice sour ale. It's done with blackberries and aged in Cabernet barrels. Complex flavors linger a while. Refreshing tartness.

Very sour taste in the beginning, but tones down after awhile. Pretty carbonated. Not bad.
