Decent ale, light on body and flavor.

Poured an extremely dark brown with a small tan head. Looked a little syrupy. Malty on the nose. Sweet smelling. Hits with a blast of flavors and then finishes clean. Dark fruit flavors and a molasses type sweetness. Full bodied. 12 oz bottle

Tastes a bit like a cross between a Belgian and a porter/stout. High ABV at 9.1% but the finish is smooth. Perhaps this is from the fact that it us aged on bourbon oak chips. Delicious!
