A bit variable. Have had this beer now several times, and the flavor profile has moved around quit a bit. Prominent coffee to wonderfully balanced to little to coffee. If you get a good bottle it?s an amazing beer.

Ok. Some bourbon flavor that lingers. Don't taste the coffee.

Absolutely loved it.. Tried it yesterday at the American Craft Beer Fest in Boston.. I could honestly say it was the best beer I sampled all day.. An easy 5 star rating..I didn't think it was possible for Allagash to make their Curieux any better but I was wrong..Starts off with subtle fruit sweetness, then immediately transitions to the intense coffee flavor which complements the bourbon flavor perfectly..Love the 10.3% abv, hard to believe a beer with such a high abv could be so smooth..A must try

Boner #1. This beer is awesome. Delicious coffee experience! Very smooth. Not too strong on the bourbon and melds nicely with the coffee.

What an interesting beer, light in color but tastes like coffee!straw yellow in color with one finger head and dark roasted coffee aroma. Light and complex, so incredibly good, the coffee forward somehow works perfectly with the bourbon boozy undertones and fruity yeast flavors of the tripel. And incredibly light for a 10% beer. Definitively have again best beer I've had from allagash
