Nice dark amber color, great Caramel aroma. Malty and sweet up front, caramel and real good dose of hops in the middle, a bit bitter on the finish.

High alcohol content distracts from what would be an otherwise good malty beer

Just a bit too much. I like strong and bitter this is just a tad overdone, still good.

Pours deep dark red, almost brown into the glass to a moussy tan head. Smell: pine, grapefruit, spice. Much of the same in the taste but with a thick, frothy, bittersweet caramel mouthfeel. Overall: delicious, but there are better red ales out there.

Color: dark red
Nose: bready malt
Taste: malty bread, hops & malts well balanced. Caramel, with hint of pine & citrus finish.

Dark burgundy color, nice tan head that clings to the glass. Excellent taste that tapers off to a very toasty roasted malt, and finishes with a clean bitterness.

Love it, balanced and easy drinking.
