This site doesn't appear to distinguish from the different types, so I'll note right at the beginning, I had the Elijah Craig 18, which is the one with the white wax (in the picture). Pours pitch black, with almost no head, just a few brown bubbles. Nose is all bourbon, vanilla, caramel, coffee. Full bodied, rich, creamy, vanilla notes, caramel, bourbon, roasted malt, a touch of alcohol, but it's necessary to cut the sweetness. If it weren't so sweet it would have been my favorite stout. I'd say it's worth the $30+ at least once if you like bourbon barrel aged imperial stouts.
