We had passed the brewpub in Carson city but couldn't stop, so I was happy to find there beer in the supermarket there to drink at the cabin. This is the first Great Basin beer I've tried, but I like it a lot. It has a rich amber color but a very light sweet aroma. It produces only a little head that dissipates quickly to leave only a small layer. It has great moderate body that I like in an IPA. The flavor is subtle and has a fairly moderate citrusy hops and finishes sweet. It's not a powerful IPA, but it's easy to drink and I like it.
