Definitely more syrupy than expected. Hops are definitely out front but at first the malt is dominant. When the malt settles you get a combination of dry bitterness from the hops with a caramel malt finish. Different from anything I've had in this style in a good way. The alcohol is hidden nice @ 9.2%. I am reminded just a bit of the piney caramel flavor of red racer but this is a heavier version of that. Next to no citrus flavor which I had read in other reviews but very drinkable. At that high of an ABV,it is the most dangerous in my fridge.

Hops whole way through. Hint of ginger to finish. Light brown color. Creamy head.

Very hoppy. Deep amber color. Strong flavor. Lingers. Excellent lacing. Very good price point. ~$7/22oz.
