Wasn't that impressed. I'm usually a big fan of brown ales but this one just didn't finish well for me. I've tried the same six pack on two separate nights and wasn't impressed. Maybe it's just the pack that I bought.

An exceptional American dark ale, with a good solid body taste. Dark coffee flavor and subtle bitterness in the palate. Not too sure about the Hemp part of this brew:-). Cheers from sunny Southern California USA! 1/16/14

Mahogany colored brew w/ khaki head. Nutty, caramel, roasted malt notes on nose & flavors. Light hoppy dry finish. Smooth mouthfeel.

For a brown ale, it was good. Mild with just a little of the bitter taste darker beers can have.
