Pours a beautiful copper with a nice tan head. Smells of plum and raisin. After it warms a bit it smells of sweet malts. Tastes are similar. Reminds me of traditional sticke beers. Would have liked the cherry to show through more. Nice beer. Thanks Marc.

This is a solid drinking amber/rye lager. Not spectacular, but just really easy to put down and enjoy. It has all the characteristics of a traditional amber/Vienna style lager with that rustic rye spiciness which doesn't overpower, but adds another layer of complexity that makes you slow down and appreciate this beer before you get another. Also, good mouthfeel on this. All in all a great drinking beer, if that makes any sense...

An exceptional American dark lager, with a good solid taste. Considered as a rye lager, the flavor has a semi sweet toasted coffee notes. Refreshingly delicious, cheers from sunny Southern California USA! 11/17/13
