Hops & Robbers IPA from Double Trouble brewing. 5.7 Abv, this is called Canada's most sessionable IPA. It pours a nice golden color with just a touch of head and the aroma is nonexistent. Oh oh, that's a bad start! It's initial taste is of lemon, hints of pineapple and that's it. Done. There's nothing else to this beer, which is a blessing and a curse. With a little hops kick this beer could be so much more than it is, but all you get is that hint of fruity bitterness and no follow through. Drinkable but on the low end of the grading scale.

Beer grows on you. A little bit light IPA but the promised hoppiness with a strong fruity lemon finish with hints of traditional bitter

Citrus, fruit and hops are balanced in this beer. Less hoppy than most hoppy beers I drink, which makes it a good introduction to hoppy beers. Still, a top beer for it's taste, and repetitive drinkability.

Sharp bitter taste, followed by subtle notes of fruit with notes of lemon and toasted pumpkin seeds. Unbalanced flavor that favors sharp bitter hops overwhelms this beer.

Found this beer terrible, it has a very fruity taste you can really taste the lemon. Not for me.

Not as hoppy and bitter as most IPA's I normally drink, but it was a very enjoyable pint of beer. Good recommendation for someone new to this type of beer.

Finely balanced IPA with nice fresh fruity notes over rich maltiness. Has the perfect touch of bitter finish. My new go to Ontario IPA.
