Hoppy and mellow and smooth, very good. On tap at Avenue Pub, September 2012. Not nearly as good in bottle, November 2012.

Sweet almost sugary scent with hints of a mystery roast. Dark blackish red color with a coffee tan head. Strong hoppy body with a nice coffee finish. Very light on the pallet. Not a beer I would run out and grab but decent if your in the mood for a quality IPA

Hoppy, yet mellow and tasty. I don't dig on IPAD but I like this

Hard core hop freAks have at it. Too much for me

This one is frustrating...all the components are there: the potent hops, the malt, the roastedness...they just don't seem to come together to make a coherent beer. There's also an off-flavor in the background I just couldn't seem to shake. Good potential, but the final product doesn't pull it off.

Smooth going down. Coffee taste kicks in. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Good brew overall.

Like a hoppy porter!

Pours a mammoth head. Tall and frothy. Deep red hue. Scent of grass and grapefruit. Roasted chocolate up front. Bitter body and finish. Not well balanced.
