dlitolff - August 17, 2015Black with thick tan head that lasts awhile, good looking brew. Roasty aroma. Burnt caramel and chocolate roastiness, woodsy hops. The flavor lingers. Mouthfeel is thin. Overall an average black IPA. Bottle, August 2015.
bradkersey - October 25, 2014IPAs are my least favorite type of beer but this black IPA gives enough toasty malt flavor to balance the hops. Very good.

Szb5111 - January 23, 2014The worst beer! It tastes like the brewer burned all of the malt, dumped in the rest of his morning coffee, took a dump in the vat and then dropped an entire hop plant plant in the mix.
I couldn't give this a lower rating.
