Introduced by my friend Brian Ewing, he suggested it based on its grapefruit taste and my interest in trying Sam Adams.

Citrusy, not too hoppy, smooth for an IPA; very drinkable

Verdict of Double Agent is basically an IPA but a bit smoother on the finish, if that makes sense.

5.0 ABV 43 IBU that 43 tastes more like double that. I think the Boston Beer guys got a deal on a boxcar load of grapefruit. Sorry boys, grapefruit and beer is a bad combination.

An interesting way to put an IPA spin on a lager. This brew has the hoppiness of an IPA yet toned down a bit. The appearance is the orange-like color of an IPA but with a less cloudy hue. Not a bad brew at all, however, does not live up to what an ale does for the bitter hop and spicy pine of an IPA.

Not as strong as an ipa but still very good. Like a baby pale ale.
Pairs well with Irish whiskey.

Incredible.. Grapefruit flavor with a subtle hop aftertaste ...Sam adams impresses once again

Nice color and a good taste. Not much of an aftertaste though, not enough hop.

Light but hoppy and tasty - nearest thing to an IPA "lite"
