Standard ipa. Drinkable but nothing special

Bitterness overwhelms any flavor and lingers

Very good. Moderately strong hops but great balance.

I have a soft spot for this beer. Very citrusy.
Troymarkz - April 4, 2012
Citrus, bitter, slightly sweet, and hoppy.

Nice malty flavor, maybe used Munich or Maris Otter.

Pours a nice dark caramel with an ivory head that dies slow. Big grapefruit and yeast nose. Flavor is surprisingly smooth and full-bodied, but holds some of its hoppy IPA qualities throughout. Fruity and bold, great beer but just an okay IPA.

That malt on this IPA is what makes it. Yes hopheads I said it. The hop flavors are strong, earthy, floral and piney. It is awesome but the malt backbone of this beer is what makes it special. The flavors are malty, biscuity and the killer is the faint raisany? Sp? Flavors. This beer is the real deal hollyfield.

Very good go too IPA. Has a nice balance along with decent hop bite. Floral and citrus flavor. Carmel malt. Resinous. I have had the bottled version but am pumped to find it in cans. Had one as I was walking my dog after work and that is pretty sweet.
