Dry and Hopped very well. Grassy and Bitter end - but pleasant finish.

Over carbonation took away from body and mouthfeel. Good beer.

Starts with a pleasant pine-y smell, fluffy head, very dark color. Moderate bitterness, creamy mouth feel. Delightful, hearty but not heavy. I'll pop open one of these when I put up my Christmas tree.

Delicious blend of an IPA and stoudt. Full mouthfeel makes you think you are eating this beer rather than drinking it. Some may not like that fullness, but I loved it. Smooth blend of hops with a unusually thin aftertaste. Hints of chocolate and...prune? Great dessert beer.

Tastes of hickory/ chicory in the beginning and then your mouth adapts. Extremely bitter black IPA. Feel it in the back of the tongue. A strong IPA. Worth a try if you like black IPAs. Tried bottle. Pairs well with a sweet pork dish

Hops and malts blended to perfection! This is a stellar Black IPA. I crave this one periodically. It's a mild black, weight-wise, with nice coffee aroma and taste, but the carbonation, bitters, and aroma make it always drinkable. A great beer from a great brewery.
