No longer my favorite beer since it developed a taste like a bandaid.

This is the beer that made me an IOA drinker - love the citrus and hop combination! The smell draws you in from the first serve.

Pure bitter but in a mild way. Not overpowering. Needs some malt balance.

Hop Hop Hoppy beer. Has a sparse head with good lacing. Next time I am in Charlotte NC I will have another.

As good as advertised. Thought it was good but overrated, then better, now compare all other IPAs of similar style and alcohol content to it. Probably my favorite thing about it is the mouth feel.

At brewery July 2015. One of the best IPA I have had.

In a crowded IPA scene this one actually manages to stand out. Citrus yes, pine yes, inviting nose, yes. But it's that haunting, intriguing quality- almost a mustiness ( I mean this in a good way, believe it or not) like the green mildewed pages of an old dime novel, that sets it apart. It's a fascinating dimension to a standout beer. Cloudy, down and dirty IPA worthy of its stellar reputation!
