D. No hop, wood or cedar notes.

Can taste the cedar, which adds interest but a funny aftertaste. Picked up at St. Mark's with Byron and Beverly. September 2014.

Toasty, biscuity malty pleasantly grassy aroma. Excellent body, eucalypt, mint, vanilla, fascinating flavour.

Decent head and lacing, amber pour. Fragrant, fruity nose - apples, pears, yeast. Fantastic flavor and soft mouthfeel. Sweet and yeasty with a hint of tartness.

Orange colored with a little haze. Head went away quickly. Citrus and wood on the nose. Upon sipping a strong hit of citrusy hops and then the woody element comes in and mellows it out. Finishes with minimal bitterness. Interesting aftertaste. Bottle 6/30/12

Slight note that reminds me of sweet potato shochu. Medium bodied. Nose: candied fruits, resembles pilsners, slightly acidic. Palate: herbal, woody, unique ever so slightly sour bitterness. Unique beer that I would probably not buy again

Another sake-esque beer from a solid brewery. Robust golden IPA. Definitely worth a try.
