PhilTheBeerKill - July 18, 2016Poured from bottle to plastic cup (was in a hotel, had nothing else, sorry). Golden orange color. Thick head, not too stable.
Not much going on with respect to smell. Faint hint of citrus.
First thought: actually somewhat balanced. Just recently reviewed some beers from much larger breweries and their beers were so much less balanced. Respect, Falls City. Also, more complexity than expected. Just enough malts to give it body to counter the hops.
Still, not a great IPA. Missing citrussy hops and in the third taste, slightly too much bitterness breaks through.
Overall: upper midfield.
mbdarst - October 17, 2014So damn good! Was told that this is similar to the very rare Zombiedust so I gave it a try. Super hoppy! Very citrusy! Great beer, highly recommended!
