chulk771 - December 27, 2015Low carbonation, smooth. Barrel and bitter, espresso. Balances ABV well. Flavor lasts. Big bodied. 4.1
cocamide - March 13, 2014Dark roasted chocolatey aromas. Very rich, roasted, burnt flavor. Lingering roasted finish.
ngianatasio - May 19, 2012Pours dark chocolate color with a mocha head. Dark chocolate and roasty notes in the nose. Full bodied, notes of chocolate and roasted malt. Seeing this beer get 3 1/2 stars here tells me that this is a site primarily for hop heads. This stout is amazing, and I would give a toe for a bottle of the Wild Turkey barrel aged version. Not so much the Macallan. I like what Scotch barrels do to beer, but I think they take away from stouts.
