martini1 - March 9, 2018Malty, caramel, toasty, earthy, medium-bodied , a great brown ale. In the Alt or Old style of German brewing this ale reminds me of English brown ales. It is my favorite US domestic brown Ale. Was proud to drink at the brewery in Conway NH
aaf145 - June 2, 2014Was first introduced to Tuckerman Brewing Co yesterday at the 2014 American Craft Beer Fest in Boston.. Tried this and the 6288 stout, both were very impressive and 4 star ratings in my opinion..will certainly look to try more from Tuckerman in the future.. The Headwall Alt is my first altbier I've tried.. Such a smooth brown ale and an absolute session brew.
