Made with neomexicanus wild hops in 2015.
Clear dark golden in color with a finger of foamy white head. Sweet melon aromas with a bit of ruby red grapefruit and then a finish like a sour beer aromas. Especially sour as it warms up. Light to medium in body has a lot of grassy earthy flavors and some sourness but not sour like lemon. Almost had a creamy characteristic to it but not silky like milky in taste. Not a huge fan of this one. Smells and tastes a little off.
Taste: medium bodied, mild citrus, lingering hop bitterness.

At NC brewery, IPA but unique taste because of hops used, liked the uniqueness

Appearance: clear dark golden color with a thick lasting head.
Aromas: grapefruit, melon, almost a sour like finish
Taste: medium bodied, mild citrus, lingering hop bitterness.

This was awful! We dumped. And we LOVE ipa-- more bitter the better. This tasted more like a standard lager. Very malty and no real hop flavor. Not sure how this one made it past the testers. Shame, Sierra!
