A little bitter at first, but after you've adjusted to the taste, it's as smooth as can be. It is a different taste than other Harpoon products.

Good taste, medium to light flavor. Good buy at $7.99, but not more.

Let's just say, "I wish I had gotten another beer. " bitter, flat and hollow. Steer clear of this beer

Nice irish red ale color. Good lacing with nice head. Overall a good drinking beer.

Reddish amber color when poured into pint glass producing a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly and leaves mild lace. Aromas of sweet malt and caramel. A bit sweet up front with nice malty presence and a subtle hop bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Easy drinkability. Good but unspectacular. Would have another if offered but will not hunt it down again.

Good red. Nothing special

Not a bad beer, but nothing special about it, either. It pours a dark red with very little head. However, it laced pretty nicely. Nose has a hint of sweet malts, but the taste really lacks substance. Easy to drink, but it's a thin body and,although you get some nice spices thrown in, the flavour doesn't last at all. Overall, just okay.
