Hard to believe that our forefathers, such as my great great great uncle Silas Sylvester, could have drank this classic premium beer born in the sky blue waters, and that his last dying sip - as he lay dying on the battlefield of Gaines Mills - could have been the purest water indulged in the choicest barley malt, grain and hops. His likely last words would
have been: "damn that's good beer." Union made...Hamm's: good. Damn. Beer.

Its of the cheapest beer you can buy. It does the trick. It?s a better PBR in my opinion. It?s drinkable and crisp which is all that should be expected. $3 for 6 tall boys and $12 for 30 rack here in West Virginia.

Classic lager. Akin to Old Style or Miller High Life (though those are a bit better)

Had at dive bar in badlands South Dakota. Surprisingly I liked it. Got a second.

I'm a college student used to drinking financially responsible beer... But if I had to choose between a thirty pack of Hamm's for a weekend or being sober... Well, I'd still take the Hamm's but I wouldn't be happy about it.

Surprisingly good cheap swill. Could do without the sweet edges, but a thoroughly drinkable cheap beer that won't tear you up like some of its more popular, more expensive counterparts. Anytime, anywhere. Great campfire or fishing beer.

One of the better old school American lagers. Mild hops bite and minimal cardboard flavor. Miss their commercials. Thanks Andrew!
