Sweet malty goodness but whiskey undetectable, so a bit of a bummer on that front.

A. Fruity, Belgian yeast spice, alcoholic (whiskey). Pretty smooth for a big beer.

Outstanding with a refreshing taste of Apple.
DPlesa - June 23, 2015
Golden amber color with notable citrus undertones and apple overtones in the head. Sweet, semi-crisp taste with lingering apple notes. Medium to full bodied, surprisingly rich for a pale ale.

Not a fan either, more bitter than I expected.

Bitter clove malty. Paul's Super Bowl 2015

Even yummier than the 9000 quad!

Not a fan...

Flavorful without being too overpowering. More dry than original Gulden Draak probably because of the barrel aging. Also smoother and less boozy than the original. I'd rob a store on this bitch.

Frothy cream head - Belgian lace. Cloudy, brassy gold. Nose is somewhat muted with subtle floral and citrus notes. Rich with ample and very fine carbonation. Notes of vanillin, malt, and light hoppyness.
Stunning. I love this beer.
