Golden yellow color, quickly dissipating head, good carbonation. Aroma is malt, corn and slight skunk. Thin mouthfeel, almost watery. Taste is balanced between mild malt and hops. Taste is also skunky, (due to the green bottle?) Some metallic and acidic notes. Reminds me a Heineken due to the skunk aroma and taste. Better than most American Adjunct Lagers but really nothing special. The bottle is pretty cool though.

2/2015 bought it for the cool bottle and to use for our brewed beer. Not as bad as I thought it would be!

"Typical" Dutch beer; better than Heineken. Used TV be a favorite import before the micro-beers.

Golden colour with a thin head. Good carbonation with a 'european' hop aroma. Good balance of malt and hop bitterness with a pleasing after taste. Medium bodied. A summer session beer.

Grolsch used to be widely recognised as the worlds best beer, however the beer now produced 'under license' is nowhere near the quality of the fully imported beer. So if you enjoy the taste of the 'real' stuff look for the original fully imported and not the the stuff made locally 'under license' !! read the labels carefully as they can be misleading !...not impressed.

A good patio beer best served ice cold and with a bowl of salsa or some serious BBQ. Has a pleasant distant Limey hoppy flavour that keeps it fresh and aftertaste free. Ok.

Watery, without much flavor.
