mrd775 - March 30, 2014Not sure why this is a triple IPA. It it's supposed to be in the same league as DFH 120, it's not. It's not even as good as 90 minute or some of the other top notch imperial IPA's.
Smell is mainly grass and grapefruit. Quite bitter, decent malt backbone. Definitely better after sitting and warming up for a bit. Strong brew, so not more than 1 in a night.
BishopX18 - March 24, 2014Decent hop aroma. Starts with a decent almost caustic bite then gives way to piney and almost sweet undertones. Almost had a barley wine hint mixed in there. Can tell its high abv but doesn't ruin it. Good beer to try but not 5 star.
