Grapefruit is right upfront, balanced without tasting like a fruit beer. The finishing bitterness is almost completely grapefruit instead of the normal hop bitterness. Good beer.

Fairly smooth ipa.. Nice grapefruit flavor to go with the large abv.. One of the better ipas I've had lately.. Certainly the best sculpin variation ive tried..mild hops mixed with the citrus flavor create a refreshing brew.... 3.5 stars

Fresh and hoppy. Delicious. Just the right amount of grapefruit

Nice beer. Lovely color, nice head, incredible Ruby Red grapefruit aroma, subtle Ruby Red flavor, nice light sticky sweetness. A lot of good things going on here. I just wish the flavor was a bit more intense. Also, doesn't regular Sculpin have a grapefruit flavor too. Really good but short of great.

ASU Mar 2015. Maybe best beer I have ever had.

Strong floral and sour red grapefruit aromas. Crisp clean and refreshing, yet hoppy. A nice springtime IPA

Smells like fresh cut grapefruit. Taste is bitter at first, like biting into a grapefruit's skin. The grapefruit dominates the flavor throughout. Very little hop presence. Medium bodied, a little sweet, finish is tart, and I attribute that again to the grapefruit. Pretty good, I wouldn't buy it again, but would definitely recommend trying once. Stone's Stocasticity Project's grapefruit slam is far superior.

I didn't notice much grapefruit or any citrus fruit flavor. I got bitterness of the citrus rind which added to the overall bitterness of an IPA made this a long sipper not necessarily an enjoyable beer. I would have liked more fruit to balance the bitter. I am an IPA fan but this was a little to bitter for me. The aroma is very nice. I will give this one another try maybe paired with food. Purchased at Fairway Market in WP, 14.99/6pk
