Pours dark, almost coffee stout Carl. Strong toasted malt nose. \nNice hoppy and spicy rye taste. Also lots of burned malt flavor. Nice and bitter\nSmooth mouth feel. Malt and caramel-y finish.
FlyinHawaiian - June 18, 2014
The rye is present and adds a nice feature to the bitterness.

Strong grapefruit flavor. The rye is a subtle but provides a nice backbone. Good beer.

Rich & hoppy! Can't taste the rye!, I think it's there, but no sharpness that I usually don't enjoy in a rye! Hoppy goodness!!

Dark & hoppy. A little tart. Yummy!

Great IPA. I'm not a big IPA fan, but the fullness of flavor in this brew balances the bitterness out well.

Ok for IPA. Dark due to rye? Strong pine,
