A solid porter, but a little too intense to be enjoyable for long. Prefer porters that have a more distinct sweetness to balance the imperial intensity.

11/9/12 Kraftwork Porter then the bourbon punches you but there's a molasses taste as it finishes. Loads of flavor, good sipping/sharing beer. Nearly impossible to drink a lot of.

Strong aroma. Dark malty. Lingering roasted flavor. One dimensional. Good but not great. 9.8

An exceptional rich Imperial beer, reminds me of Old Rasputin Imperial. But, what's up calling it a port? Is it the high 9.3 apv? Regardless, it's full of flavor with a good balance of bitterness and caramel notes on the palate. Cheers! 10/18/12

Loved it but why not just call it a stout.

Great nose with the right amount of hops. Ends with a malty sweetness which masks the 9.2 abv well

Excellent flavor... Can't go wrong with Flying Dog

If you order a regular porter and get this, you're probably going to be pissed like I was. Pretty standard imperial porter I guess. Overly hopped, but also pretty malty and sweet. Eh. It'll get you drunk.
