tomspalla - September 24, 2013Hazy gold. Nose - wet straw, white pepper, lemon zest. Starts sweet with a mild mouthfeel which quickly changes to a drying long-lasting finish with tannins, more white pepper, and dried herbs.

Strong Belgian Ale, blonde in style. App deleted previous comment. good, and strong. Finishes light then fades to slightly hoppy and dry.

Ommegang (NY) collaboration with Brewery d'Achouffe (Belgium).
Belgian strong ale (blonde in style?). Has quite a bite to it, with almost a hint of banana or apple or orange(?). Not enough to ruin it, though. Medium mouthfeel with decent carbonation. Finish is medium, then dries out before too long. Yeast and alcohol carry in the flavor, an the "blonde-ness" really carries on the nose.
