Unusual and not for everyone; doesnt exactly taste like beer.Takes what works in the Original O-Gii, which is especially its perfect, velvety, syrupy mouth feel, and throws in a perfect layer of gin flavor. They really dialed it in right, though would not hurt to go slightly stronger on gin either. Base of the beer is a hard to categorize, supposedly wit beer, ale with added tea. Every other time I have regular O-Gii my opinion changes a bit. Not with the barrel aged. Too expensive, yes. But also too good! Weirdly, the beer this tastes closest to is Central Waters Ol Fashion. And youll definitely be reminded of a mixed drink as you consume!
