As holiday/spice beers go, this is one if the best I've had. It is lighter in body and alcohol while still being substantial enough to be satisfying. Not overly sweet but nicely balanced. Ginger is the main spice flavor and it is pretty pronounced but not obnoxious. A pretty nice roasted malt backbone. If you don't like ginger you probably won't care for this much. Solid winter warmer that's easier to drink than most others of the style.

Spicy holiday brew, had it at caiths superbowl party 2014

Medium brown in color with a white airy head and gingerbread cookie aromas. Light in body with molasses and gingerbread cookie notes. Ok and enjoyable. Easily drinkable.

Slight brown sugar gingerbread aroma but dark malty brown ale taste easy to drink nothing special

Went down real easy and had a better flavor than Amber Bock.

Didn't get too pleasant of a gingerbread taste. Didn't care for too much

Spicey ginger flavor, not sweet flavor. Not desserty. Dark. Might be good to cook with.

Dark with no head, underwhelming ginger aroma. Roasted malt character with ginger notes. Slight bitterness with a dry finish.
