Strong hoppy characteristic, delicious beer but more of an IPA than a pale ale. The note on the side of the bottle says its a bit of an homage to the West Coast, where the brewer learned to brew; it most certainly is... another reason why I believe we live in the halcyon days of brewing... so hard to find a craft beer that isn't well crafted!
