4/27/2018 TnF This is actually a IIPA. Had to try it since they brewed it with Melvin. Danky with bitter pine finish.

The Spring I have is a IIPA. I bought it about a month ago and it tastes like you would imagine an aged west coast IIPA to taste. Aroma is mostly citrus fruits with a moderately low presence of malt sweetness. Flavor is the same. Finish is not crisp but smooth. Well balanced in the finish but obviously leaning heavily toward the hop bitterness that lingers well into the aftertaste.

One of the hoppiest tripels I've had to date.. The hops don't linger but I'm not looking for that in any tripels I drink.. Needs more fruit less bite.. Like the abv but that's it.. 2.5 stars
