A bit too bitter. Finishes better than it starts. UPDATE: Had a better tasting. Lays it down with quiet chocolate, comes through with blend of coffee and oatmeal. All very satisfying when had alone.

Way too much coffee notes. If you don't like coffee, this beer isn't for you

Nice dark color with a beautiful body! Tastes like coffee and toast! Great stuff!

Very tasty but a little heavy to have on a daily basis.

Delicious! Rich, dark, chocolatey flavors, hints of coffee, smooth and savory. Love this beer!

Smells of pure coffee. Perfect amounts of malt and coffee in the taste. Oatmeal smooths it all out

By far one of the best if not THE best stouts out there! I look forward to October every year for this black gold. Thick frothy head. Sweet & chocolatey on front. Then comes a coffee-like smooth finish on the back end. Doesn't drink like 8.3% either. Great dessert beer! Thank you founders!!!
