Starts with a two finger tan head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is chocolate and sweet. Taste is a bit dull. The malt stands out more but not much was hoping for a little more hop to bring out the flavor.

Nice tasting easy drinking. Light hops with a nice dark malt. Good beer

Strong dark malty flavor as a dark ale should be. Continues with a strong bitter hoppy flavor, then finishes off smooth. Not too bad, but has a little aftertaste.

This brew touts malty notes with a generous use of West Coast hops. I do feel the abundance of hop addition with the sharp bitterness, however, it seems to be unbalanced. The bitterness dominates and overrides any other notes within the brew.

Strong hop aroma, and overwhelming bitter bite. Bitterness hangs on in the aftertaste.

Unique creamy head, crisp slight bitter finish

Strong hop aroma, bitter bite. Coffee and slight chocolate finish. Bitterness hangs on in the aftertaste.

High bitterness with lemon tones. Dark tones are an aftertaste.

Strong English bitter taste

Bitter, medium body with a sweet finish. Certainly more taste of malt than hops. Some scent of vanilla and coffee.
