An amazing and refreshing IPA brew. Sweet zesty head and bursting hops in the palate. Yet you don't taste the red ale till the latter. Cheers from SoCal USA 2/13/18

Really enjoying this beer. Much better than last year's Tumbler. More along the lines if the hoppy bitterness I expect from Sierra Nevada.

Pours a nice red/amber from the tap to a one finger head. Smell: pine, with some citrus in the background. Taste: piney, citrusy, grapefruit hops with a toasty, baked bread malt backbone. Dry, roasty finish not unlike a brown ale, Porter, or stout. The hops have a lingering bitterness which is accentuated by this dry malt finish. Overall: seemed a bit too piney and dry for my taste. If you're looking for a true northwest IPA this is a very good beer for you.
