Didn?t taste as strong as a 7.9% ABV. I wasn?t in the mood for spices but it was relatively smooth. Would try this one again in the winter time.

Deceptive at 45 IBU and dark - drinks like a lighter brew; a tribute to the Crafters for perfect spice balance. An excellent winter warmer.

Classic strong ale at 7.9% with a subtle blend of spicing without too much clove which is always a turnoff.

another great beer from 21st... balanced, strong and smooth... not overkill

Drinkable but below par winter warmer...nice start..spicy, malty and light bodied for a winter warmer.. But a strange lingering bitterness.. Not the worst but wouldn't have again.

A little sweet and a little smoky. Tastes like Christmas and Valentine's Day all in one.

Better in can than tapped version. Seemed to be less spicy.

C+ to B-. When cold the spices come across as bitter or maybe it is highly hopped for a winter warmer. Root beer & gingerbread flavors, aroma mild root beer. Too bitter warm also.
