clear-ish amber with a nice soft white head of good retention and quickly receding lace. Nose is soft bourbon but full wood with some fermenting pears. Some vanilla and oak up front before a trace of leathery and apple-like yeast presence, before the final evolution to an earthy and herbal dry linger. A bit oily with a nice tingling but slight carbonation. Almost feels like a cask. A touch boozy on the linger as it evolves
