The tire is fat and so is the taste with this rewarding ale. aroma is hops with a subtle malt tinge. Strong malty sweetness that is immensely enjoyable. There is nice balance of hops on the palate, with some residual piney bitterness from the hops in the aftertaste, but overall a sweet aftertaste from the malt. A fresh sip yields malty sweetness, but the sips of quick succession reveal bitterness from hops. As such, a complex beer. Perhaps a tad unbalanced for this reason, but I find it rather enjoyable. 4.5 in overall beers, 5 for America ale style.

Roasty malted beer

Good, reliable beer. A medium body with a malty finish.

Arguably the most overrated beer... At new belgium, enough said

Pretty good - not completely full flavor.

Amazing. Current favorite. Slightly nutty darker brew.

Love it with pizza and after a long day of watching my son play rugby

The quintessential New Belgium beer. Great amber ale. Orange/brown in color. Nice thick head.
