Mapwhap - May 30, 2013Hmmmmm.....what to say? I thought the concept of a farmhouse ale combined with a witbier sounded interesting. The execution left me a little underwhelmed. Not really strong enough or pungent enough to taste or smell like a true saison, and yet, I could detect even less of the witbier flavor. The beer was drinkable, certainly. I had to buy it in a 4 pack, and I didn't mind finishing it. I just wasn't blown away. Subtle hints of spice and lemon arrived as the beer warmed up. Also, it came canned. Once poured into a glass, it improved somewhat.
aquilafisher - May 11, 2012Absoulutly excellent hybrid beer, you get spicey and fruity flavors with a clean finish, you can taste hops but its not to hoppy, nice and clear with good carbination. well worth effort of finding.
