specksofdust - September 13, 2014Odd taste. It was well-made, but just didn't work. Too much citrus. It was almost like a sour. Lacks the signature Belgian phenols and spice flavor, and suffers from (I dare say...) too much American-ness. It's was painfully overpriced in CA, at $11.99. I gambled and lost, having hoped that it would blow me away like their chocolate imperial pumpkin porter. It didn't. Glad I shared it, otherwise I might have not finished it.
