ekon46 - October 13, 20124.8% ABV. 42 IBU. 12oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a hazy, amber color with orange/copper highlights. Produces a frothy, 2-finger, white head with good retention that left moderate, sticky lacing. When first poured the nose was of caramel and banana, but that changed rather quickly to scents pineapple, grapefruit and pine. Really amazing change from early malt aromas to practically all hops. Taste is grapefruit, citrus and pine. Quote hoppy for 42 IBU!
Light body; thin, somewhat grainy, mouthfeel; dry finish with a resinous aftertaste.
