Smooth dark ale. Nice flavor, but I was expecting a more complex taste.

From the bottle. Poured with a large seemingly firm head, but disappeared nolacng orfoam at all. Very dark appearance, if not opaque very dark mahogany. Slight coffee, maybe subtle chocolate aroma. Seemed at first taste to have something of a weedy tartness, then notes of coffee maybe very very subtle chocolate, very clean. Very highly carbonated almost prickly on the Tom very minimal bitterness. The Spears not remarkable to me really

It's ok. Expecting bigger taste. Good body. Big thick head. Smells fruity hint of plum. Tastes slight plum, slight chocolate, little bready. Great color (from photo)
