bugs318 - April 28, 2012Note: this a picture of delirium nocturnem, not the beer labelled here. This beer, Dieu du Ciel's Déesse Nocturne (Night Goddess) is a very nice, dry, mildly bitter yet creamy stout with a hint of cocoa on the nose. Fairly creamy on the tongue and easy to drink. 2nd Review: black in colour with nice mocha head of moderate retention and little lace. lightly smoky nose with some roasted coffee and chocolate notes, but faint. Taste is malty sweet with a smoky ashy dryness. Not as ashy as the Chemin de Croix, but also much more watery and light in body. Feels just like water. Worst DDC offering yet even if they still rock! 2.5
